SHOCKWAVE THERAPY AT AMANDA'S PODIATRY

Target Pain at Its Source with Shockwave Therapy

Say goodbye to stubborn joint pain and sports injuries — without surgery, needles, or downtime.

If persistent pain from conditions like plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, or tendonitis is holding you back, rest and ice might not be enough. At Amanda's Podiatry we use advanced Radial Shockwave Therapy to jumpstart your body's natural healing response deep within the tissue.

Why Choose Shockwave?

Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment designed to stimulate the body's natural healing processes and help reduce persistent pain.

  • 100% Non-Invasive: No surgery, no drugs, and zero recovery time. Walk in, get treated, and get straight back to your day.
  • Clinically Proven Science: High-energy acoustic waves boost blood circulation, break down stubborn scar tissue, and restart your body's natural repair cycle.
  • Fast & Effective: Sessions take just 10 to 30 minutes, with most care plans requiring only 3 to 6 sessions.
  • Immediate & Lasting Relief: Experience reduced pain and stiffness quickly, with maximum healing unfolding over the following weeks.

YOUR TREATMENT

History

Your practitioner will take a full medical, medication and lifestyle history if you have never visited the clinic before, or review it if you have visited us previously.

All your information is handled in accordance with GDPR.

Assessment

Before any treatment, your practitioner will undertake a visual and physical examination of your feet and lower limbs to assess the extent of your condition and determine the most appropriate treatment plan.

This allows us to develop a treatment approach designed to achieve the best possible outcome for you.

Treatment

Once you and our practitioner are happy with the treatment plan, we will apply a connecting gel to the affected area and the shockwaves will be delivered via the pulsating applicator.

The aim is to deliver approximately 2,000 - 3,000 pulses along with other rehabilitation treatments, such as exercises, to aid recovery.

There are some contraindications where Shockwave Therapy is not suitable. This will be discussed with you during your consultation.
